TRUSSARDI

The year is 1911. The city is Bergamo, Italy, where Dante Trussardi created the eponymous brand, opening a factory for the production of leather gloves.

In the 1970s, his grandson Nicola took over and changed the brand to make Trussardi synonymous with luxury and elegance. The company chose the Italian greyhound as its symbol. It expands its business, adding to the assortment other leather accessories such as belts, shoes, suitcases, and other small accessories.

In the following years, Trussardi became involved in various collaborations. In 1996, Palazzo Trussardi Della Scala in Milan was created, which became one of the first concept stores in the world and now it is the headquarters of the brand.

In 2022, the fashion house hire designers Serhat Izik and Alexander Husby. They completely renew the vision of the brand, creating a sensation at Fashion Week in Milan. There they present their daring FW/22 collection, predominantly black with touches of the Renaissance, turning the hijab into a fashion accessory.

About their style, they say that they want to combine the imagination with the reality of street fashion in Milan and manage to bring back those simple lines and minimalism that bring the feeling of luxury and a little mystery.
